Daria Tumanova
Biography
Was born on the 29th of October in 1972 in Belorussia. At the age of 5 with mother moved to Volodymyr-Volynskyi, Ukraine.
In 1978 the mother, pianist, gave her daughter to a music school in violin department. This education enriched the inner world of a child, presented the ability to think creatively.
At the age of 12 Daria went to the art school, where she was studying drawing, painting, sculpture and composition.
In 1987 she passed entrance examinations to Lviv National College of Decorative and Applied Arts named after Ivan Trush. Studied there at "Artistic embroidery" department.
During the student period was exploring ornamentation in the archives of museums in Lviv and Volyn and in 1988 entered the youth ethnographic organization "Lion Society".
1990 - took private lessons in the studio of Lviv artist Ushakov.
In 1991 got married with young icon painter Oleg Tumanov. Children were born one by one. Fulfilling the role of housewife and mother, Daria created design costumes based on Ukrainian embroidery and personal schemes.
2004-2005 - studied at the Lviv Academy of Printing (specialty – «Book Illustration»).
2008 - opened her own studio - "Art Design". Engaged in design of interior and furniture. Gave lessons of craft art.
2012, 2013, 2014 - took part in exhibitions of the studio "Art Design", also in the contest «Ukrainian Design: The Very Best Of».
2014 - Dara gave birth to a fifth child, was looking for her painting and graphic style.
November 2014 - took part in "showroom" in the studio "Art Design".
Periodization
1984-1985 - studied at art school.
1986-1991 - studied at the Lviv National College of Decorative and Applied Arts named after Ivan Trush.
2004-2005 - studied in Lviv National Academy of Printing.
2007 – took possession of the following programs: ArchiCAD, Photoshop, CorelDraw, 3Dmax.
2008 – founded the studio «Аrt Design».
2011 – took part in the exhibition of the studio «Аrt Design» in the Marian community.
2004 – 2012 – Lviv, Created embroidered suits.
2012 – took part in the exhibition of the studio «Аrt Design» in the gallery "Corals".
2008-2013 – worked for the numerous projects about interior design.
2013 – took part in exhibition of the studio «Аrt Design» in English school «GreenArt» in Lviv.
2013 -2014 – took part in contest «Ukrainian Design: The Very Best Of»; took possession of technique of stained glass “Tiffany” and Art felting of wool.
November 2014 - took part in "showroom" in the studio "Art Design".
